The Live Activities feature gives you minute-by-minute precipitation updates for your current location or the first location on your list.
The Rain/Snow Scope activates automatically when precipitation is expected in the next 1-3 hours, offering detailed forecasts. It won’t appear if there’s no precipitation expected.
To enable it and ensure it works properly, follow these steps:
- Enable the Live Activities option in the Weather Live app's settings menu, and provide all requested permissions in your device's settings
- When there's precipitation in your location, start Live Activity from within the app, and the Rain/ Snow Scope feature will show forecast weather data on the lock screen
Also, this feature is integrated with Dynamic Island (for all devices that support this feature), and will be available even on the Home screen on these devices.
